Magical hot air balloons are set to fill the sky in March as a brand new festival comes to the Sarasota / Bradenton area.
The Sarasota Balloon Festival takes place 8th - 11th March at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch and also features the biggest and best carnival in the area, retail vendors, food trucks and more!
Admission to this event is also free, with a $20 parking fee ($15 if booked in advance at sarasotaballoonfestival.com) or you can pre-book a wekend parking pass for $30 to see the balloons as many times as you wish!
The festivities begin at 5pm each day and run until late, with organizers encouraging guests to arrive early. Saturday is expected to be the busiest day in terms of traffic, so if you are able to pick another night it may be less busy!
PRICING
Admission is FREE.
Parking Passes: Parking $20 per vehicle per day ($15 if booked in advance) / $30 per vehicle for a WEEKEND PASS
Carnival Prices: Unlimited ride wristbands: $25 per day or $60 for a weekend MEGA PASS! Individual tickets cost $1 and most rides use 3 to 5 tickets.
Balloon Flights are $250 per passenger.
Tethered balloon rides are $20 per person.
