Street Live: Make Your Magic is a show geared for little ones with multiple acts and engaging visuals to keep children's attention. The show had great music the kids loved to sing along to while watching the performers dance around the stage. The kids were so excited, some were even dancing in the isles.
The show begins when magician extraordinaire Justin visits Sesame Street to put on a magic show. Elmo wants to be a part of the show, but Elmo doesn't know how to do magic. Throughout the show Elmo and his friends discover the "power of yet" - that with perseverance and practice, nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams.
In preparing for the magic show, each of the characters discover that there is magic in their everyday life - baking cookies for Cookie Monster, caterpillars changing into butterflies for Abby, shadow puppetry for Big Bird, making music using everyday objects for Rosita and creating colors to make a masterpiece for Grover. Make your Magic was able to teach kids valuable lessons while entertaining them at the same time.
Kids and parents loved the grand finale with butterfly confetti falling from the ceiling! And of course Elmo and Big Bird were the crowds favorites.
The show was about 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. There was a lot of audience participation, including a set where select audience members were brought on stage to participate in a dance contest. Some of the Sesame Street characters even came into the audience a few times for some hugs and high fives, much to the delight of all the kids.
If you have small children, Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic is a Must!
