Have you seen the new outdoor street hockey rink that was just recently built at the Ruskin Recreation Center?!!
The Tampa Bay Lightning has been busy building 10 outdoor rinks in the 5 counties surrounding Amalie Arena (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Polk). These rinks are being built with funding provided by the Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL and NHLPA through the Industry Growth Fund.
Programming at these rinks will include; clinics ran by Lightning Alumni, ball hockey Leagues, learn to play ball hockey, adult ball hockey and much more!!
Monday, February 10th: Ruskin Rink Grand Opening
- Join us for the grand opening of a new ball hockey arena in Ruskin followed by an Official Lightning Watch Party as the Bolts take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road. Address: 901 6th ST. SE, Ruskin, FL 33570
- 3-3:30PM: Press Conference
- 3:30-4:30PM: 1st Ball Hockey Clinic
- 4:30-5:30PM: 2nd Ball Hockey Clinic
- 5:30-6:30PM: 3rd Ball Hockey Clinic
- 6:30PM: Watch Party Festivities Begin
