Social distancing can be rough when trying to get some delicious food while also trying to get out of the house. Luckily, there's a new food truck in town located off of Shell Point Road in Ruskin.
Introducing... Shell Point Pizza!
I heard about this new pizza truck through a mutual friend and finally got a chance to drive over and try it last weekend.
They not only have pizza, but some delicious appetizers, calzones, sandwiches, salads, and also desserts!
My 6 year old ordered a pepperoni slice and loved it. He loved it so much, I had to go back and order another slice for him. :P
While ordering his 2nd slice, I decided we needed more food and I ordered Uncle Vito's Fries. Oh were these yummy, they reminded me of the fries you get from a carnival or fair, but then loaded with Italian goodness... sauce, cheese, and loaded with meats. I ended up taking them home and eating the rest for breakfast. Yum Yum!!!
My 9 year old decided he wanted to try a meatball because the people ordering ahead of us also ordered one and he said it looked "yummy" so I ordered him one along with his cheese slice.
The meatball was covered in delicious sauce and had melted cheese in the middle. You can't go wrong there. :)
I on the other hand, knew exactly what I wanted to try on our drive over. I love artichokes, so it was a no brainer for me to order up the Arties. Deep fried artichoke hearts with a delicious citrus aioli. I will definitely be going back for more.
I was nice enough to save 1 for my husband. LOL
Not only do they have delicious food, but they also have games! Bocce Ball and Corn Hole! The kids had so much fun and getting out of the house was awesome!
